Been a busy last two months. Had multiple friends visiting as well as moving to a different city…. not much ‘me time.’ I’m sure we’ve all had that feeling of insufficient ‘me time’ at some point.
Level 4 – Classes that require emphasis on pace and time coming soon!
I’ve been procrastinating a bit as of late. I have started the level 4 classes that require careful attention to pacing post. I hope to be done with this within a week.
Sunny Sunny Sunny!
What do you do when you know you shouldn’t be saying “What the ****?” You use another expression. I couldn’t help but smile at this one. He is always full of surprises!
Shoutout to Ed Nace and his ebook: “Loud and Clear”
For those that do not know, Ed runs a larger impressive Facebook group titled “VIPKID Chinese – Say What??” He takes his own personal time to help others translate confusing or unusual feedback. He recently published an ebook titled “Loud and Clear.”
I purchased this book and I can confidently say that this is definitely worth the $10 price tag. Although I’ve taught nearly 7000 online classes and have taught English as a Foreign Language throughout my 20s (my first teaching experience came when I was just 20), I personally found a bundle of invaluable tips and pointers for delivering feedback that is meaningful in a sense that students can really put in time outside of class. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to improve their overall teaching methods as well as delivering feedback that can be applied. I’m not struggling by any means in terms of bookings (I don’t mean to say this in a bragging type of manner), but I found a lot of valuable information that I hope I can implement very soon! I’m very grateful to have stumbled upon this book. Thank you Ed for taking the time to write this book!
If you have any questions about VIPKID I would be happy to answer them. I’m not looking for referrals whatsoever. I genuinely enjoy teaching and only stick to that.
Have a good weekend everyone!
